The Dark Web - Threat to People

The Internet is a vast topic to talk about nowadays. Everything is possible on the internet. If we need to search something regarding Health, Fitness, Education, Entertainment etc everything is available online. Even if we'll talk about the businesses, anything and everything is available online and everyone is thinking of growing their business on the Internet. We can search almost everything on the web. Does anybody know about the Dark Side of Internet? Though we search so many things nowadays on the internet and if I'll talk about the  making facilities are also available online. For anything we have to enter our details and on some sites we also enter our sensitive information like personal information Credit card details, Net Banking etc. Many of us are unaware that this information can also be misused by the DARK WEB. This blog is the overview for those people who are unaware about the term called Dark Web. 

What is the Dark Web?

Dark Web also known as deep web is basically not available on Normal Google Search. It is generally hidden on the deep layered proxy and is non indexable content which is not available on Surface web. In simple words we can say the portion of the world wide web which is not visible on the Search engine is not available on conventional search engines. 

In detail, all the invisible sites which are not searchable on the search engines refer to the deep web. In other words, we can refer to the sites containing illegal and criminal activities deep dived inside the layers of deep web also called the dark web inaccessible to the normal public. This Dark web can also be used by the big companies to keep their essential information private.

Is the Dark Web a threat to the Commoners?

If we'll talk about the Internet, it's a vast term and is accessible by millions of People within 24 hours a day, 168 hours a week and for almost 8,760 hours a year. However the actual accessible search engine is  basically the tip of the iceberg and the remaining part is hidden in the deep web. It is hard to identify the exact part of a search engine which is hidden within the layers of the proxy at a given point of time. This is the part which is accessible by hackers who stole our sensitive information and use that for their own benefits. This is a dangerous hidden part which is out of our sight and millions of people are unaware about it. 

Dark web generally fascinates people who are interested in illegal activities such as, molestation, stealing, terrorism, arms smuggling, Child pornography, involved in making fake ids, hackers for hiring are easily available in Dark Web. As stated, it is used by the big companies to protect their confidential information, at the same time it may be used to breach the privacy of innocent people. Worst crimes can be done using the dark web as stated. For instance, I have seen a movie recently wherein the information of the people was stolen online as the people were uploading the sad status as breakups and also the people who have failed in their lives while doing something.  They have written this information in their computers and some of them have uploaded their breakup status and the scammers checked their information as a result of which they send a voice message and took hold of their computer systems and forced them to commit suicide. People who are in depression and are willing to die they force them to commit suicide or else ask them to kill the person who is the reason of their depression. Not only this, the dark web forces innocent people to commit crimes like murdering other people by blackmailing them for their sensitive information or by playing with their emotions. 

Prevention from The Dark Web :

It is advisable to keep your information safe and not to share your personal information on every site on the web. Also protect your password as it is the main source of risk.
